i wouldnt recommend it because nail glue tends to frost up and go white instead of clear and it's not good for your nails to put any sort of acetone on your nails hense acetone free nail polish remover

Acrylic nails should last much longer than that. So you should try and keep the same ones for about two months.
But other than that there’s actually no need to really take a brake. Although your nails will not stay very strong underneath acrylics.

My stepmother is a nail artist and never removes her gel nails only to get them changed once every two months or so.

Some, you may have …
Some, you may have to remove the dispersion layer(sticky residue)if you were to use a clear gel or Shellac. Some gel topcoats for nail enhancements(acrylic, gel, wraps) there won’t be that top layer needing to be removed- you’ll be all set to finish with cuticle oil and send the client on their way. Unlike systems such as Gelish, Shellac, or any UV cured “polish”, because there is some gel in those polishes, which requires that dispersion layer to be removed.
