I made my own french tips, and I was thinking about putting a little gem on them. I don’t have nail glue, so it okay if I use elmer’s?
Yeah, you could do that. When the glue has dried, go over your nails with clear nailpolish. This will help to seal the gem onto the nail.

here is me screwing around bored while my client was in the dryer. i painted her daughters nails, filmed it, had it on my pin drive for montthsssss and figured i would show it because i was going to throw it away but you guys said “dont do that!!!” so here you go…lol have fun and i hope you guys like them

I’m looking to buy some on ebay and it’s around two pound for 500, if i bought normal nail glue would they go on? :S thanks!
Are you talking like, Elmers glue?
If so, then no. They don’t stick the best and if they do, lord help you, then you’ll have a horrible time with them, its best to use the glue you get in the packaging along with the nails. And if you lost that then just go to your local walmart or something and buy another tube of it.

How do you keep glue-on nails from falling?

I sometimes glue on fake nails, but they usually fall of after a couple of days. Is there any way to keep them from coming off? And would it be better to have them professionally done at a salon instead?
I found that if you use a good file,and file down the whole top surface of the nail, just scuffing it, the glue will hold much better.It is also very important that the fake nail FITS the shape of your own nail.If it doesn’t fit right, there will be bubbles or loose areas when you glue it down.I never used precolored nails because you cannot see if there are air bubbles under the nail when you apply it.Air bubbles can cause nail fungus to grow under the fake nail.
If you cannot find nails shaped like your own, you can shape the fake nail with a file before you apply it, so it curves perfectly to your cuticle.If it is too small, then you have to buy other fake nails which are bigger.
When you apply the glue to the nail, make sure you get a good drop on there,maybe two.Then hold the nail to your own nail as HARD as you can, making sure there are no air bubbles.Good luck! I hope this helped!!
I don’t recommend salon application of these.It runs into a lot of money really fast.And you can’t always get an appt. if one breaks or comes off. Save your money and do them yourself!
